This poppy square was created as an alternative to the traditional granny square. It can be used in any project that involves modular squares - such as blankets, bags, or clothing.

The pattern works with any yarn and hook size. It’s ideal for using up leftover yarn and works well as a scrap project.

About the sample
The square in the photo was crocheted with a 2.5 mm hook and measures 10 x 10 cm. It was made using the 5 following yarns :
