the garden minibag - crochet pattern

The garden minibag is a tinsy, soft shoulder bag featuring the signature poppy square. It is fully lined and has a zipper for secure closure. The pattern provides detailed instructions for crocheting the bag, hand-sewing the zipper, and adding the lining.

Dimensions
Width : 20 cm [8 in]
Lenght (without the strap) : 15 cm [6 in]
Depth : 4 cm [1.5 in]

Hooks
a 3 mm [D] hook for the body of the bag and a 5 mm [H] hook for the strap

Gauge 
20 stitches x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 in] in single crochet cross stitch with a 3 mm  [D] hook

Line by Sandnes Garn in 4 different colors : 
scraps of color 1 (C1) : 1015 Kitt
a quarter of a skein of color 2 (C2) : 1099 Sort
half a skein of color 3 (C3) : 1002 Creme
a skein of color 4 (C4) : 5930 Lys Bla

Other materials
Fabric for the lining : about 16 x 25 cm [7 x 10 in]
I used a 100% cotton black fabric. I srongly recommend using a structured fabric (such as cotton serge) in order for your bag to maintain its shape.
