The crayola oven set is a playful kitchen set crocheted in 100% cotton yarn. To enhance heat resistance, the potholder is designed with two layers and the oven mitt is worked with two strands of yarn held together.

When purchasing this pattern, you will receive two separate patterns (one for the oven mitt and one for the potholder). 

Dimensions
The potholder : 20 x 20 cm (about 8 x 8 inches)
The oven mitt : 17 x 27 cm (about 7 x 10 inches)

Hook
3 mm for the oven mitt
2.5 mm for the potholder

Gauge 
For the oven mitt : 19 stitches x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in single crochet cross stitch with two strands of yarn held together and a 3mm hook

Yarn
About 250g/625m (8.8oz/694yards) of Fiocco cotton yarn for the entire set. About 100g for the potholder and 150g for the oven mitt.

You can substitute this yarn with sport weight cotton yarns that have the same attributes as the Fiocco cotton yarn. Please make sure to use 100% cotton yarn for heat resistance. Substitute yarns include : Loves You 9 by Drops, Capri by Katia, Golf by Land Yarns
